Creating Vendors for Maintenance

The Maintenance Vendor Setup option allows users to view the details of the equipment vendors and the parts supplied by them.

Breakpoint: 70020 - Maintenance Vendor Setup (Front Office - Housekeeping)

Perform the following steps to create a maintenance vendor:

Navigate to Housekeeping à Maintenance à Maintenance Vendor Setup.

Click Create Maintenance Vendor. The Create Maintenance Vendor screen appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field

Description

Vendor Code

A unique code to identify the vendor.

Up to 6 words are supported.

Vendor Name

The name of the vendor.

Up to 30 words are supported.

Active

Select the option to indicate that the record created for the vendor maintenance is active.

Address

The contact address (residential or official) of the vendor.

Contact

The home, official, or personal contact number and email ID of the vendor.

The Parts Supplied By This Vendor section allows users to view the details of the parts supplied by the vendor.

Click Create

Users can also perform the following actions in the Maintenance Vendor Setup screen:

  • Modify the details of the vendor using the Edit icon.

  • Delete the vendor record using the Delete icon.

  • Search for a vendor record using code or name.
